Job Description
Notability is an industry-leading note taking application with expressive drawing capabilities that make full use of the power of the Apple Pencil and iPad Pro.
As a Senior Multimedia Designer, you will be a visual storyteller who brings Notability's brand and message to life across a variety of digital channels. You will report to the Director of Design and collaborate closely with Marketing leaders to create impactful media that drives engagement and inspires.
This role is required to be on-site at least 2 times per week in our San Francisco office.
What You'll Do:
- Create and develop effective storytellingthrough video, graphic design, and motionthat supports and evolves our brand.
- Iterate through many designs for rapid marketing campaign tests. Work tightly with Marketing to optimize the designs based on performance and insights.
- Create videos comprising of screen recordings, live usage, and/or motion graphics for marketing, onboarding, and education campaigns.
- Assist the Visual Designer with social campaigns and creative.
- Identify areas in our marketing or elsewhere to improve and take initiative.
- Develop, champion, and influence how the Notability brand expresses itself through graphic and video design. Further develop existing guidelines, systems, and processes to ensure quality and consistency.
What You Need:
- 5+ years of experience designing marketing media across platforms and mediums.
- Must have experience creating and editing video, along with basic animation ability.
- A dynamic portfolio showcasing strong graphic design skill, eye for detail, and compelling storytelling.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills you'll be collaborating and reviewing work frequently.
- Ability to effectively communicate concepts, present storyboards and convey design rationale.
- Experience working independently, iterating quickly, and driving multiple projects at a time.

Where We Work
We work in downtown SF near Market Street, just a short walk from two BART/Muni stations. Our open-plan office has height-adjustable desks to help us stay limber, a cluster of rooms for small group meetings or individual work, and a shuffleboard table to help us stay coordinated (or to enjoy during happy hour :D).
For this position we are targeting a base pay between $112,00.000-$169,000.00. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
