Eaton’s Commerical Product & Assemblies division is currently seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer. This role can be located out of Houston, TX, Aurora, CO, Fontana, CA or Grapevine, TX. Relocation assistance will be provided. The expected annual salary range for this role is $77,249 - $113,299 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer leads manufacturing productivity, process and improvement projects across the distributed satellite operating footprint through various methodologies (e.g. lean six sigma, continuous improvement framework, etc.) to help achieve business unit goals.What you’ll do:
- Support the needs of manufacturing operations to improve safety, quality of process, product throughput, cost improvement, and process capacity. Lead process improvement teams and support timely completion of improvement opportunities using appropriate Eaton approved continuous improvement methods.
- Utilize organization in implementing significant process improvements and develop plans to meet future process needs. Apply knowledge of lean production systems to improve manufacturing process and meet manufacturing growth requirements. Utilize leadership skills and ability to drive teamwork across disciplines in a continuous improvement environment.
- Provide input to annual capital budget, department budget for industrial engineering and continuous improvement priorities.
- Build organizational capability through structured problem solving and development of talent at all levels to facilitate continuous, break through improvement on their own. Mentor and coach satellite site leadership to ensure continuous improvement competence and cultural change.
- Lead efforts around technical training for all manufacturing personnel in support of continuous improvement and cultural change.
- Be involved with I 4.0 and site digitalization efforts.
- Utilize data analytics and tools such as Power BI, Excel, and Minitab to drive change and improve manufacturing processes. This includes analyzing production, sales, and key business metrics to identify areas for improvement

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in a manufacturing function (operations, supply chain, engineering, OPEX, quality, supervision)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline involving structured problem solving: all engineering disciplines, business administration, sciences
- Two (2) years of experience implementing business processes improvements and digital projects across the organization
- Two (2) years of experience in the electrical assemblies industry
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow belt
