Title:Sr. Manager, Pharmacy Technician
Role Description:
The Sr. Manager, Pharmacy Technician helps us meet our goal of successfully providing the best care anywhere for our patients by providing quality and efficient service to patients. Our Pharmacy Technicians make outbound medication adherence calls to patients and pharmacies to ensure optimal medication adherence and receive inbound calls related to refill requests. This role will directly manage Pharmacy Technician Supervisors who oversee a team of Pharmacy Technicians. The manager will be responsible for the productivity, quality, and outcomes of the technician team. High levels of flexibility, attention to detail, and problem solving are required to be successful. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day and oversight of both teams and long-term strategic growth of these departments. This team member is also expected to spend approximately 50% of their time leading the supervisors of the teams and the rest of their time will be involved in strategic initiatives centered around continuous improvement of these roles.
Core Responsibilities:
Supervise pharmacy technician supervisors and oversee execution of daily workflows, including staff scheduling and work assignments
Conduct effective resource planning to maximize the productivity of the team
Provide continual evaluation and updating of processes and procedures. Responsible for implementing methods to improve area operations and efficiency
Develop training materials for supervisors to train employees on new processes/process changes and ensure the team has effective training and resources to effectively complete their responsibilities
Create and maintain dashboards to track team and individual productivity and performance
Provide consistent and timely performance feedback and ensure supervisors are coaching individuals where appropriate for overall skill improvement and employee development
Create and maintain a high-quality work environment so team members are motivated to perform at their highest level and establish work procedures and processes that support the company and departmental standards and strategic directives
Collaborate with cross functional leaders on service operations, patient experience, population health as well as our clinics on operational initiatives that will improve patient experience and outcomes
Provide staff education, in coordination with pharmacy and care teams, to ensure proper roll-out of new clinical policies, procedures and best-practice literature.
Oversee maintenance of certifications and licensure, including continuing education requirements.
Provide an exceptional patient experience through service, responsiveness and care, including addressing customer complaints

What are we looking for?
Minimum 3 years previous management/supervisory/leadership experience
Active Pharmacy Technician License in the state you reside strongly preferred
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification strongly preferred
Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
A flexible and positive attitude with a high level of integrity
An effective coach and trainer that can communicate to individuals with multiple different learning styles
Outstanding phone demeanor and etiquette
Computer proficiency, including Google Docs and Sheets
Able to give and receive feedback effectively
US work authorization
