Description
One Federal Solution (OFS) seeks an experienced Program Manager to support our federal government client. As Program Manager, you will prepare and deliver solid presentations and effectively facilitate/present to various stakeholders. The Program Manager must have strong oral and written communication skills to clearly instruct the project team.
The Program Manager will monitor progress and resolve any identified issues affecting successful project/program completion as follows:
Task and Duties:
  • Interfacing with all areas affected by the project, including customers' end users, computer services, and client services divisions.
  • Defining and assigning project scope and objectives.
  • Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Conducting project meetings and tracking project deliverables, including weekly executive briefings.
  • Ensuring adherence to quality standards and reviewing project deliverables.
  • Managing the integration of vendor tasks and tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables.
  • Providing technical and analytical guidance to the project team.
  • Establishing, documenting, and managing the scope, schedule, and resource allocation for projects and sustaining activities.
  • Performing an integrated Program Management function to ensure effective cost, schedule, and technical requirements are achieved.
  • Conduct biweekly customer stakeholder meetings and present financial and technical reports to maintain exceptional customer satisfaction levels.
  • Gathering and providing multiple levels of metrics for management review showing the functionality of the services and value added to the organization.
  • Possesses and exercises general knowledge of all technical and management areas of the contract.
  • Acts as a technical advisor and implements processes and procedures for effective program management.
  • Monitors progress and resolves any identified issues affecting successful project / program completion.
  • Possesses strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate people to work towards achieving the customer's goals.
  • Possesses strong communication skills. Prepares and delivers solid presentations and effectively facilitates/presents to various stakeholders. Has strong oral and written communication skills to clearly instruct the project team.
  • Delivers regular reporting to customer as required leveraging the customer tools when appropriate and necessary.
  • Responsible for aiding in own selfdevelopment by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience managing federal government projects and contractor personnel
  • Able to commute onsite 5 days a week (Washington, DC area)
  • Experienced being a supervisor or team lead, and has experience managing direct reports of a minimum of 10+ people
  • DOS experience preferred
  • Willingness to fill in where needed (e.g., answer phones, help with team projects, etc.)
  • Secret Clearance Required
  • Bachelor's Degree and PMP preferred but not required

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract
Pay:
$120, $140,000.00 per year
