Sr. Manager, People Analytics & Systems (Workforce Scheduling)

About the Role:

Bond Vet is building the next generation of veterinary clinics from the ground up — and we're looking for a motivated Sr. People Analytics & Systems (Workforce Scheduling) to join our team!

We are in need of a strategic thinker, and team player! We're looking for someone with scheduling-based HRIS experience to help us build an exceptional and modern scheduling process leveraging our HCM UKG Ready.

What You'll Do:

  • Workforce Planning Systems Optimization:
    • Oversee the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of HR scheduling platforms (UKG Ready).
    • Configure and maintain integration of scheduling platform systems as needed.
    • Develop and maintain HRIS-based scheduling rules, policies, and workflows aligned with business needs and labor regulations.
    • Conduct regular audits and troubleshoot platform issues to maintain system integrity.
    • Develop and implement data-driven workforce planning system processes aligned with operational needs, employee preferences, and efficiency.
    • Analyze scheduling data and processes to identify opportunities for improved utilization and cost savings.
  • UKG Ready Expertise:
    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of UKG Ready Advanced Scheduling, TLM, Labor Allocation, and other schedule and timecard-related modules.
    • Configure and maintain scheduling rules, preferences, and constraints within UKG Ready.
    • Stay updated on UKG product updates and enhancements and work with operations to implement any needed changes based on product updates.
  • Scheduling Enablement:
    • Empower employees with self-service scheduling tools and flexible scheduling options within UKG Ready.
    • Proactively address schedule manager concerns and feedback to create a positive scheduling culture.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead Workforce Scheduling projects, including implementing new scheduling processes or technologies within UKG Ready.
    • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
    • Communicate progress and deliverables to stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Build and automate Workforce Planning analytics.
    • Develop and generate insightful reports and dashboards to inform decision-making and resource allocation.
    • Track key metrics such as labor costs, overtime, and time-off utilization.
  • Partnership and Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with HR operations, payroll, and clinic teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment.
    • Partner with business leaders to understand scheduling needs and align platform capabilities with business objectives.
    • Provide ongoing support and training to managers and employees on scheduling tools and processes.

About you;

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and drive change management initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret scheduling data and identify optimization opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Automation and reporting tools
  • 5 years of experience in HRIS implementation and administration, with a focus on scheduling modules or platforms.
  • Proven expertise in configuring and managing at least one major scheduling platform (e.g., UKG Ready, Kronos, WorkforceHub).
  • 2 years of Project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering results on time and within budget.

Compensation will fall between $120,000 - $140,000 annually based on experience
