My snacking client is hiring for a Sr. Manager HRBP, hybrid in office NYC 2-3 days per week.
HR Business Partners collaborate with department heads and their teams to: ensure organizational health and effectiveness, drive proactive talent development and organizational design, and ensure optimal team member experience. In this role, you will also play a leadership role representing the organization within your designated business partner team during all leadership team meetings, talent discussions, development planning and training, and employee relations matters. As a Sr Manager HRBP, you will ensure talent strategies are linked to our business priorities, lead change efforts and nurture our culture and values.
Responsibilities
- Participate as a member of the department leadership team ensuring strong understanding of business goals, drivers and how they intersect with optimal organization and team effectiveness.
- Support team member development and diagnose broad capability needs for long-term organizational success.
- Understand evolving business contexts, stakeholder expectations and business requirements and translate them into talent and culture strategies.
- Lead HR processes including talent reviews, succession planning, compensation and people-related business continuity strategies during annual review processes.
- Serve as a champion for your team members, guide & coach leaders in culture, performance management, employee relations issues, training and retention in order to successfully manage and lead their teams to high performance.
- Drive team member engagement for your business group leveraging data.
- Collaborate with internal HR Operations, Talent Acquisition and Talent Development teams to enable the business and talent agenda.
- Resolve conflicts effectively balancing team member experience and business priorities.
- Introduce progressive external insights and trends related to the future of work (hybrid teams,
- remote engagement, etc.).
- Conceive, lead and design learning opportunities for employees including training and meeting facilitation.
Experience and Skills:
You have…
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience in the HR field
- A minimum of 7 years of HR Business Partner experience supporting a variety of functions
- Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to effectively convey messages to different leaders
- Experience with coaching leaders for performance
- Ability to effectively resolve complex problems
- Strong sense of accountability and strong project management
- Outstanding personal judgment
- Passion for rolling up your sleeves to get things done
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.
- A strong collaboration/one team mindset
Comp range from $95k - $150k base (dependent upon experience), 20% bonus
