As the IT Supply Chain and Corporate Services Senior Manager - Ocean Spray, you will take on a pivotal leadership role primarily overseeing the support and management of a complex service and global operations that spans both internal teams and external 3rd party Tier 1-3 partners. This role is integral to ensuring the seamless operation of our Global Supply Chain, focusing on service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
As a secondary responsibility you will lead a team to that manages existing Corporate Services applications to include Finance, HR, Legal and Growers.
Your responsibilities will encompass service governance, vendor and partner management, coordination of internal teams, and proactive performance monitoring and troubleshooting. You will oversee incidents and take on a proactive problem management role, to drive service improvement initiatives, and manage service-related changes to support evolving business needs. Additionally, financial management, compliance, and communication to all levels of our business will be key aspects of this role.

A Day in the Life...

  • Global Supply Chain and Corporate Service Leadership: As a Senior Service Manager, you will provide visionary leadership for the Global Supply Chain service, orchestrating its delivery across various internal and external teams. You will leverage your experience (in Order to Cash, Plan to Make and Warehouse Management) to improve processes and underlying technology to optimize our people, platforms and data. Within Finance domain you will provide oversight of an existing direct report, applying the same rigor to orchestration and consistency in service management across existing portfolio.
  • Service Governance: Establish robust governance mechanisms to oversee service delivery, including defining service-level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and service improvement plans (SIPs) across multiple partners.
  • Vendor and Partner Management: Collaborate closely with external 3rd party tier 1-3 partners, managing relationships, and holding them accountable for meeting contractual obligations and service quality.
  • Internal Team Coordination: Work closely with internal teams across Manufacturing, Customer Operations, Logistics, and Warehousing and Finance to ensure seamless coordination of activities and alignment with service goals. This includes stepping in to aid in incident escalation and bridging internal and external teams to ensure successful resolution of incidents where needed.
  • Service Continuity: Implement strategies to ensure service continuity, including disaster recovery planning, redundancy, and proactive risk management.
  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance of the service, analyzing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimizing service delivery.
  • Incident and Problem Management: Review incidents and proactively lead problem management efforts, ensuring swift resolution of issues, identifying root causes, and implementing preventive measures.
  • Service Reporting: Prepare and present monthly service performance reports to senior executives, highlighting achievements, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
  • Service Improvement: Collaborate with internal and external teams to drive service improvement initiatives, utilizing a structured approach such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) practices.
  • Change Management: Manage service-related changes, ensuring minimal disruption to operations while maximizing benefits.
  • Capacity Planning: Work with internal and external partners to forecast and plan for capacity needs, ensuring that the service can support evolving business requirements.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial aspects of the service, including budgeting, licensing, cost control, and optimizing expenditure for maximum value.
  • Vendor Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular assessments of 3rd party vendor performance, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Service Compliance: Ensure that the service adheres to regulatory and compliance standards relevant to the Global Supply Chain function.
  • Service Communication: Maintain effective communication channels within the service management team and with stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and transparency.
  • Service Innovation: Identify opportunities for service innovation and technological advancements that can enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Global Supply Chain service.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Extensive Service Management Experience: A minimum of 8 years of proven experience in leading and managing complex IT services, with a strong emphasis on service governance, vendor and partner management, and continuous service improvement. Direct experience in managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) is essential.
  • Global Supply Chain Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of Global Supply Chain processes and technologies, including ERP systems (SAP highly desirable), EDI, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS - BlueYonder/Red Prairie highly desirable). Proven experience in optimizing technology solutions for core processes such as Order-to-Cash and Plan-to-Make.
  • Finance Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of the Finance processes as they intersect with Order to Cash and Operational reporting. SAP FICO experience and P2P processes highly desirable but not essential.
  • Industry-Specific Knowledge: A background in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Food & Beverage industry is highly preferred, demonstrating your understanding of industry-specific Supply Chain execution functions, including connected planning, logistics, manufacturing, order lifecycle, and warehouse management.
  • Service Governance: Demonstrated expertise in service governance, including the ability to define, monitor, and improve SLAs, KPIs, and Service Improvement Plans (SIPs). Proven ability to effectively manage vendor and partner relationships to ensure high service quality.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders to adopt industry best practices in terms of business processes and technology solutions. Proven experience in promoting collaboration and transparency.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Strong research, data analysis, and problem visualization skills, enabling data-driven decision-making and the ability to identify opportunities for service enhancement.
  • Certification in Service Management: Certification in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) or a relevant service management framework is highly desirable, showcasing your commitment to service excellence.
  • Change & Release Management Expertise: Proven experience in leading and supporting complex change and release initiatives across corporate domains and systems, demonstrating your ability to navigate and drive transformation efforts effectively.
  • Team Management: Track record of successfully leading and developing a team.
