The salary range for this position is $119,203 - 149,003 per year based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr. Manager, Global Regulatory Affairs will be responsible for cosmetic product registrations, screening for compliance, along with formula and raw material data excellence. The position will manage relationships with cross-functional partners in legal, packaging development, product development, project management, sourcing, quality assurance, and brand management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and submit cosmetic and OTC drug product registration documentation.
- Request and screen ingredient and formula data.
- Evaluate formulas against internal and governmental limits.
- Review and compile cosmetovigilance data for reporting.
- Maintain key relationships with raw material vendors, and contract manufacturers.
- Submit samples for safety and clinical studies.
- Review carton artwork against approved copy and claims.
- Participate in project meetings, and help problem solve deliverables.
- Provide project updates to leadership.
REQUIREMENTS
- BS in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or equivalent experience with 7+ years relevant work experience in the cosmetic or similarly regulated field.
- Experience in cosmetic product registration submission, preferably with experience in Brazil, China, India, and Australia.
- Passionate about the cosmetics industry, and creating an inclusive environment.
- Experienced with formula management systems, direct experience with Coptis a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects through strong prioritization and planning.
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, often-changing collaborative environment.
- A team player, flexible and able to adapt to change.
- Manages complexity while balancing stakeholder expectations and needs.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

- Approximately 5% domestic and international travel may be required.
