A Sr. Management Analyst position is available with The City of Fort Worth Park & Recreation Department within the Administration Division. This position will lead the development, consolidation, and usage of data points to support the department's approximately $80 million budget and 736 employees and provide complex data research and analysis to drive strategic initiatives.
The Sr. Management Analyst position requires strategic thinking and the ability to logically pursue and explore complex questions and solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with government financial, performance, workload, purchasing, GIS, and asset data. The candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and be adaptable to changing situations.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree with major course work in Public Administration, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least two years of experience in the analysis of processes, procedures, operations, systems or methods, including experience in the functional area of assignment such as data management and usage, research analysis or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with enterprise systems such as PeopleSoft ERP, Questica Budgeting and Forecasting systems, PeopleSoft HCM, GIS, etc.
- Experience learning new systems quickly.
- Experience measuring and collecting new data.
- Advanced skills using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (both written and oral) with leadership and support staff.
The Sr. Management Analyst job responsibilities include:
- Act as Data Analysis Lead for the Park & Recreation Department. Serve as the primary contact with the FWLab Data Analytics Team.
- Interact and collaborate with all levels of personnel in various work settings.
- Utilize various systems that house data in conjunction with Microsoft Power BI or Microsoft Excel to consolidate, analyze, report, and present complex data.
- Coordinate with FWLab Data Analytics Team to work through system and data issues.
- Research, interpret and analyze data collected and make recommendations to management as needed.
- Directly and indirectly supervise employees, overseeing analytical and administrative assignments while providing direction and feedback.
- Conduct special projects as needed.
