Your Role at Baxter
Perform routine maintenance and upgrades to the building, grounds, and critical manufacturing support systems. Support the facilities department to perform preventative maintenance activities.

The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. Your Role at Baxter
Perform routine maintenance and upgrades to the building, grounds, and critical manufacturing support systems. Support the facilities department to perform preventative maintenance activities.
What you'll be doing
- Keep all facilities equipment and utilities in compliance with regulatory standards and in good working order.
- Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, BMS system, fire/life safety, and other systems;
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems;
- Maintain, operate all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and building repairs;
- Perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations;
- The ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
- Locate and diagnos failures, replaces defective components and performs basic troubleshooting using hand & power tools, test equipment, mathematics, operating manuals, specifications, prints, and verbal and/or written instructions.
- Provide written documentation of activities via work orders.
- Communicate status of work assignments to internal customers.
- Promote safe work practices and works in a safe manner at all times.
- Respond to Emergency notifications.
What you'll bring
- College AS or working towards a Degree
- Certifications (Safety, Scissor Lift, ForkLift, FirsAid, OSHA10/30, EHS)
- License Electrician (has worked on electrical circuits, 120-277VAC and low voltage devices)
- RO, DI, HVAC, AHU, Package Units, TCU, FCU in a Medical Device/BioPharma environment
- 3+ years of HVAC related experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Must be punctual.
- Basic computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Office products
- Maintain detailed and accurate reports
