Qualifications
- 10 Years experience – Preventative Maintenance on Mold Injection equipment, prefer experience with SIPA
- 10 Years of experience with injection mold material processing and material/resin dryers
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Effective communication of issues and solutions to cross-functional team members
- Ability to read and interpret schematics: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic
- Skilled in the use of equipment such as hydraulic and mechanical presses, bench grinder, drill press, mill and lathe, and assorted power tools
- Proficient skills with precision measuring equipment, such as calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and depth gauges
- Direct interaction with OEM provider on all issues.
- Experience with Engal injection machine is a plus.
Essential Functions
- Adhere to and enforce highest standards in safety and good manufacturing practices plant-wide
- Train and lead Operators, Mechanics and Supervisors on technical procedures related to Mold Injection machines
- Rapid identification of machine problems to minimize equipment downtime with root cause analysis conducted to prevent re-occurrence
- Partner with other Maintenance mechanics to resolve cross-functional problems
- Use of available software systems to analyze and identify issues to drive throughout performance
- SIPA injection molding machines consisting of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems
- Auxiliary systems including resin handling/blending, resin drying, dehumidification, vision inspection, conveying, and cooling systems.
- Mold injection systems, internal hot runner and cold half maintenance, identification of component wear and troubleshooting through detailed inspection of produced products
