Injection Molding Operator/Inspector

Silgan Dispensing is a large business in Grandview, MO. We are professional and agile. Silgan Dispensing Systems is part of a global company that produces injection molded parts for some of the world’s leading brands.

Duties:

- Operate Injection Molding machines to produce high-quality products

- Set up and adjust machine settings to ensure proper molding process

- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and efficiency

- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications

- Assemble and package finished products according to customer requirements

- Perform basic math calculations and use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers

- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

- Previous experience in Injection Molding or related manufacturing field preferred

- Familiarity with hand tools and ability to use them effectively

- Knowledge of materials handling and ability to fabricate parts as needed

- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and diagrams

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks on finished products

- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
