Join Ecolab as a Senior Logistics Analyst - Automated Inventory Management supporting the Nalco Water divisions in Naperville, IL. The individual in this role is responsible for leading the work efforts for the management of exceptions for orders generated from Ecolab's new Automated Inventory Management (AIM) program.
In this program customer orders are generated via predictive consumption models relieving the customer and sales rep the time and hassle of monitoring inventory and creating orders. There are currently just under 4,000 customer delivery locations in the program, with expectations of over 10,000 locations in the program in the next year.
This position will identify and drive process improvements as well as initiatives to increase the number of customer tanks in the program. The successful candidate will also create and manage KPI's and dashboards to monitor the health of the program. As necessary, this position will be responsible for managing and coordinating with sales reps and the central program team on various exception alerts generated in the process. This position will use a variety of tools to ensure order exceptions are resolved quickly to ensure customer delivery in a timely fashion. The Automated Inventory Management program will be the primary way that customers will receive bulk and portafeed deliveries so this role is critical to customer success. The successful candidate must be a self-directed achiever, detail-oriented, and possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.
What You Will Do:
- Coordinate the work efforts of the other AIM operations resources
- Drive growth initiatives to increase tanks on the AIM program, including the creation of training and marketing material for the field associates
- Work closely with the AIM program manager to accelerate the pace of onboarding bulk tanks into the program
- Develop and maintain operational metrics and KPI's
- Identify trends in operational tasks to drive continuous improvement opportunities
- Support the operations team in day-to-day communication with sales reps regarding tanks, orders, the AIM program, billing, and other operational questions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with sales representatives and district managers
- As necessary, troubleshoot failed automated orders and drive resolution across the AIM program
- As necessary, manage and respond to operational alerts through communication with sales representatives and internal program partners
- Understand historical usage, safety stock, current inventory levels and forecasting
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years' experience in logistics, warehousing, planning, reporting, auditing and/or related experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel, SAP and Power BI
- Ability to travel depending on business needs

- Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, auditors or other members of the business community.
