Sr. Java Back End Developer
What you will do:
- In this role, we're looking for an experienced backend Java software engineer to help build, certify and operate complex payment systems. These systems allow our large fleet of smart payment terminals to process millions of transactions a day via our cloud infrastructure.
- You will be pragmatic in balancing priorities and enjoy working in an iterative model where specifications are constantly changing.
- Maintain and add new features.
- Rearchitect the Payments code for better scalability and availability.
***This position requires - 4 days in office with an option to work Friday from home. First 90 days you'll be expected in office all 5 days.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor's degree, or above, in computer science or other engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience
- At least 8+ years of experience in Java Development
- Spring Boot, Microservices
- Familiarity with MySQL and database design
- Experience with API design
- Superior problem-solving skills and debugging capabilities
- Comfort with self-managing multiple high priority projects and working with complex, distributed systems
What would be great to have:
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure to conform to external standards and meet strict deadlines
- 10+ years of experience in Software Development
Salary Range
$112,900.00 - $192,000.00
