Design, implement, and support an Enterprise high availability (HA) network/voice infrastructure and cybersecurity firewalls, maintaining 99% uptime for the company’s proprietary manufacturing systems. Develop, implement, and maintain an infrastructure monitoring solution capable of tracking, visually displaying, and alerting the IT staff of issues within the IT infrastructure to provide network uptime of at least 99%. Comply with the company’s security guidelines, and lead projects for IT infrastructure installations within site expansions. Provide technical backup for the local server and perform storage engineering in Microsoft Server, VMWare, Veeam (backups software), Horizon VDI, Brocade Switches, NetApp storage environment and HP MSA. Assess organizational uses and assist in development of policies and procedures. Ensure systems comply with ePO, LANDesk, HPAM, HPSM, BMC and other industry and Continental standards. Develop, implement, and maintain the Local Site IT Disaster Recovery Plan. Perform additional administrative tasks like quotes, provider negotiation, Infrastructure Budget, supplier relations, and special audits to office and shop floor environment (IPC’s, Continental Software, vulnerabilities).

Responsibilities:

› Ensure the operation and high availability of the lT Network infrastructure, implements contingency plan, installs and supports these infrastructure;

› Provide technical and operations support of existing data and voice systems;

› Monitor and manage the performance, capacity, and operating environment for related infrastructure;

› Support local management to identify potential IT solutions;

› Work with IT management to provide cost-effective local operations in accordance with IT sourcing strategy by (a) Ensuring provision of consistent IT support and service level; (b) Ensuring continuous optimization of services versus costs;

› Assist the team in execution while managing IT projects in the plant;

› Assist to support and administer the IT Infrastructures of the plant (Office Hardware-PCs, Laptops, Telephone, and Software, Server, Network, Internet, Shop-floor infrastructure) following the company standards (example Distributed Environment);

› Cross train with local Server/Storage Engineer;

› Responsible for 24/7 tier-3 on-call support

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor (4-year) degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related IT field;

• Requires five (5) years of technical experience coordinating the implementation and operation of voice and secure data network, Windows Server, and enterprise storage solution in a large manufacturing facility;

• Requires five (5) years of technical experience in configuring and monitoring of Cisco IOS in switches, APs, routers, NX-OS, WLC and Call Manager; Firewall, ISE, FMC, TACACS, FTD,Radius Servers and ASA;

• Experience in IT monitoring solution such as Intermapper, Nagios, and Solar Winds; providing 24/7 on-call support of production;

• Requires three (3) years of leading large technical projects;

• Certification in Cisco CCIE, CCNP, or CCNA;
