Join our dynamic Thermo Fisher Scientific Global Payroll Team as we work on ADP payroll system transitions around the globe! Working closely with the project team, internal operations and vendor, this individual will support, maintain, and enhance payroll systems in support of the Payroll and roadmap. Day to day responsibilities include payroll process documentation, project activity status tracking, engaging with business partner workstreams to understand current state payroll operations activities, define future state and solution for gaps.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain process documentation, standard program work and templates.
  • Interact and connect with project team members to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of process updates and modifications into production
  • Provide recommendations for operations process improvements
  • Train new users on ADP GlobalView, ADP Celergo, and ADP myView Portal
  • Perform systems testing during payroll implementations and process improvements initiatives
  • Manage special projects as needed

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

  • Minimum of 5 years of Payroll experience. Payroll project experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Knowledge of integration points with Payroll and other third-party systems such as Workday helpful.
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem solving abilities, and the ability to quickly learn new areas
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Able to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Dedication to meeting the expectations of internal and external customers
  • Logical and efficient; Keen attention to detail; high energy/sense of urgency
  • Team-oriented individual who demonstrates initiative and have ability to work independently
  • Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as the need arises
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills. Ideally ProMapp or Visio experience
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines; strong time management skills
  • Travel 10%-20%
