Incumbents work with the direction and guidance of a Manager, Customer Experience to manage and complete all activities and deliverables for assigned projects, at times through coordination of cross functional teams. The general focus of the job is on programs which are multi-dimensional and cross functional in scope with the overall goal of supporting customer growth and success.
- Technical skills. Expertise in Excel, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. Preferred familiarity and comfort with learning and using various technical platforms including WordPress and dotCMS.
- Attention to detail. Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Agility. Flexible approach to developing solutions for stated challenges/opportunities. Ability to seek diversity in thought, perspective and presence for the best possible solutions and results.
- Great communication skills. Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience. 2+ years’ experience with yearbook as a student or adviser.
- Education. BA/BS in Education, Journalism or related field.
- Support. Assist go-to-market process through adviser growth and education with a focus on skill development, resources and recognition efforts that benefit the overall customer experience.
- Coordinate. Participate in the development, implementation, and management of adviser programs. Coordinate activities to deliver on stated marketing and business objectives, including but not limited to the following:
- Act as the voice of the adviser – pre, during and post- development; seek and identify market needs and requirements; balance market needs with Jostens yearbook strategies for continued success in the classroom.
- Work with cross functional teams on strategies, content development and new market opportunities.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders including end users (customers, students or consumers), sales, marketing, operations, service, etc. to execute and implement project plans.
- Channel integration – communication plans, education/training, implementation, market expansion, etc. in support of adviser growth and development.
- Analyze data and customer feedback to make recommendations and act on the analysis and solutions of problems.
- Oversee multiple initiatives, such adviser support, mentoring programs, customer communications and net account growth strategies.
- Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.)
