- Define, align and execute a 3–5-year adidas Licensed and Team Sports sales strategic framework and plan, incorporating specific approach and goals in relation to High School acquisitions.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans that incorporate specific account insight and goals to achieve adidas Sales and profitability, margin and product segmentation targets that align with brand and category objectives.
- Manage, support and commercialize the strategy for transfer identified NCAA schools from “direct” Sports Marketing entities, to “indirect” Team dealer serviced properties, maintaining continuity of contract and brand equity.
- Establish sales structure and engagement model for the corporate sales (BusinessToBusiness) sector of the market
- Coordinate with cross functional partners in relation to scholastic acquisition strategy, ensuring alignment and executional excellence, while achieving critical goals
- Create and drive the necessary operational model needed to facilitate the business and drive the top line through strategic servicing.
- Establish and maintain consistent tools and policies to support our contractual requirements, including but not limited to management of promotional budgets and contract incentives.
- Drive account growth and profitability by assessing and building on areas of momentum; capitalize on product/pricing opportunities and course correct with innovative sales tactics to improve sales performance with account.
- Develop and maintain senior level relationships with key account leadership with a view to creating aligned strategic vision.
- Collaborate with operations on the future path to purchase for Licensed and adidas Team.
- Assist cross functional partners in the effective merchandising, demand planning, and ranging of product line, development of sales programs by financial implication, development of sales strategies/direction, and alignment of internal operations and policies.
- Provide forecasts and seasonal planning for IBP purposes across the business.
- Drive clear, concise, fact-based leadership aligned to the company culture and resources.
- Establish a high-performance culture and drive employee engagement, leading by example.
- Provide a suitable performance framework for direct reports by setting performance targets and coaching for continuous improvement.
- Manages expenses of entire division within assigned budget ensuring the achievement of financial targets.
- Perform supervisory responsibilities including but not limited to interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; coaching and mentoring; addressing complaints and resolving problems in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable.
- Ability to motivate and lead a team, coach, provide a framework for performance and build talent up within the organization.
- Thorough knowledge of key metric levers and how to use them to create increased profitability and sales for both adidas and its’ retail partners.
- Ability to apply financial data to make decisions and influence outcomes. This includes margins, retail math, forecast/projections, probability and statistical inference, fractions, percentages, ratios, etc.
- Ability to portray a confident and winning attitude in challenging business interactions.

- An understanding of consumer markets and specific Team, NCAA, Licensed experience preferred.
- Technical proficiency with MS applications (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Teams)
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and ten or more years retail, sales or management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree.
