Job Description:
TBM Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Desktop Support Analyst to join our dedicated IT team. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing advanced technical support across our desktop computing environment, ensuring a seamless, user-friendly experience for our employees. This role involves troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues, managing IT projects, and leading initiatives to enhance our desktop infrastructure. Ideal candidates will possess a strong technical background, leadership capabilities, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer expert-level Desktop Support and troubleshoot intricate issues with hardware, software, and network connectivity to ensure minimal downtime.
- Act as the go-to technical authority for the installation, configuration, and upkeep of desktop systems, applications, and related technologies.
- Spearhead desktop-related projects, including the rollout of new technologies, system upgrades, and migrations, ensuring smooth execution and minimal impact on day-to-day operations.
- Develop, document, and maintain up-to-date IT systems procedures, and contribute to the knowledge base to assist with issue resolution.
- Provide training and guidance to junior Desktop Support technicians and end-users, promoting IT best practices and policies.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to enhance the desktop computing environment, implementing best practices for a robust IT support framework.
- Manage the inventory of hardware and software assets from procurement through deployment to retirement, ensuring accurate tracking and compliance.
- Uphold stringent security and privacy standards to protect organizational data and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor system performance, conduct performance tuning, and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency.
- Offer emergency on-call support as necessary, addressing and resolving critical issues promptly outside regular business hours.
### Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Desktop Support role, with a solid track record of resolving complex technical problems.
- Expertise in desktop operating systems (Windows/Mac/Linux), Microsoft Office suite, and IT service management platforms.
- Familiarity with desktop imaging, deployment, and configuration management tools.
- A strong foundation in network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), security practices, and IT infrastructure components.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, capable of swiftly diagnosing and addressing issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the adeptness to demystify technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven leadership and project management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage workflows.
- Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), are preferred.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
