The ideal candidate for this role is a Data Scientist to design and deploy projects in direct support of our Risk and Sales organizations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone quantitative to make a transition from trading, hedge funds, investment banking, or engineering into fintech and specifically, consumer credit. The role is to drive top level revenue performance from our lease and loan assets by designing the optimal mix of pricing, approval rates/amounts, asset selection, and geographical targeting. What You will Do
•Develop and implement quantitative analyses and frameworks, deep dive customer insights, predictive models to enable performance measurement, decision-making and identify business actions and customer outcomes.
•Partner with C-suite, corporate strategy, finance, marketing, merchandising, research, product, data science and analytics organizations to drive outcomes.
•Measure business performance by conducting analytical research, interpreting results of experiments, and building dashboards.
•Lead the application and validation of statistical and other mathematical methods to collect, organize, interpret, and summarize economic data to assist in decision-making and support the development of business strategy.
Requirements
•4-7+ years of experience working as an analyst in Corporate Strategy, Risk Analysis in the Investment Banking, Management Consulting, and/or Venture Capital/Private Equity.
•Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Math, Finance, Engineering, Sciences.)
•Superior quantitative analysis skills, creativity in problem-solving, and a keen business sense.
•Established history with leading analysis-driven projects across definition, execution and presentation, driving and influencing strategy, product and marketing roadmaps.
•Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
•Experience with R, Python, Tableau, Looker, and Google Analytics (or similar analytical packages) is a plus.
•Demonstrated ability to collect and organize data and work effectively with complex relational databases (Snowflake, Hadoop)
•Analytical mindset - ability to perform root cause analysis, recognize patterns, and observe details.
$145,000 - $175,000 a year
