Job Description:
Sr Data Governance Consultant is an experienced individual that has prior experience in Data Governance work as well as knowledge of AWS platform.
This person will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining an effective DGO practice at client and support the AWS Data Governance and Collibra for on prem Data Governance.

Job Description:
Sr Data Governance Consultant is an experienced individual that has prior experience in Data Governance work as well as knowledge of AWS platform.
This person will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining an effective DGO practice at client and support the AWS Data Governance and Collibra for on prem Data Governance.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to help onboard new data sets.
- Serve as the expert in below listed technical requirements and support the users.
- Meet with users to understand their requirements and support any customizations required.
- Bring thought leadership and new ideas for improving efficiency and adoption.
- Support Data Stewards, Data Owners and help foster culture of accountability.
Technical Skills Requirements:
There are two technical areas that this person should have skills in.
Collibra:
- Must have working knowledge of Collibra and its architecture (from technical perspective, not just user perspective).
- Able to build Collibra Workflows.
- Experience in configuring and supporting Collibra operating model.
- Nice to have:
- Collibra Ranger certified.
- BPMN (Program file script developed on eclipse; these are used to upload code to Collibra).
AWS:
- Must have AWS experience (AW Glue, S3, Athena, Glue Data Quality, Glue Data Catalog, etc).
- Must have experience building analytics solutions (dashboards, AI models, reports, etc.) OR developing platforms (Cloud Enterprise Foundation, central catalogs, etc.).
- Nice to have - AWS Lake Formation, Data Cataloging, Metadata management.
