THE ROLE:
Thomas James Homes is seeking a Senior Corporate Paralegal to support our legal department located in Aliso Viejo, California. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in corporate law or in-house experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Corporate Governance: Maintain and update corporate records, including board minutes, resolutions, annual filings and other governance documents. Assist with preparation of board materials and logistics for quarterly board meetings.
- Litigation Support: Assist in preparing and organizing materials for litigation matters.
- Billing: Handle legal invoice tracking and processing.
- Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date legal files and documentation. Assist in document retrieval and production in response to legal requests.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage various corporate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- General Support: Work closely with the legal team, other departments, and external partners to facilitate effective communication, scheduling and cooperation.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- 10+ years real estate/construction legal experience in a large law firm or in-house.
- Demonstrated experience managing process and coordinating cross functional projects and teams and proven effectiveness as a matrix leader.

The compensation range for this role is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
