Position Objective
This position is responsible for assisting WMS supervisor in coordinating activities of associates in distribution/inventory processes, utilizing knowledge of equipment, procedures and specifications. Monitors productivity, quality, and safety, and may adjust work assignments and train Inventory Coordinators.
Functional Responsibilities
- Research all inventory discrepancies
- Complete adjustment forms and perform adjustments
- Follow up on all departments to ensure procedures are being followed
- Complete cycle counts
- Assist with training and system testing
- Maintain an organized work area
- Research/Trace inventory path from receiving to putaway to picking to shipping utilizing PkMS PIX, distro, and case/carton inventory inquiries
- Understand general messaging between PkMS, TCS, and Vertex and how it relates to inventory accuracy
- Maintain Inventory Accuracy Spreadsheet as it relates to each department and corresponding adjustments
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed
- Communicate with other leads to ensure a consistent team environment is maintained
- Maintain company housekeeping and safety standards throughout the day
Educati0n
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Required Qualifications
- 0-3 years' work experience In inventory control
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work flex schedule to meet business needs, including nights and weekends
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Excellent detail orientation with the ability to learn, follow and communicate policies and procedures correctly
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently, adhere to work schedule and manage regular duties with minimal supervision
