Job Description
Title: Sr. Content Designer, Consultant (Remote) - Current & Active Security Clearance Required (Confidential or above), 1099 contract 30-40 hours per week.
Overview: A content strategist is a key role within marketing, communications, or digital teams responsible for developing and executing content plans that align with organizational goals and resonate with target audiences. They play a crucial role in shaping a brand's online presence, ensuring consistency, quality, and effectiveness across various digital channels.
Responsibilities:
Content Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define content objectives, target audiences, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Develop comprehensive content strategies that encompass content creation, distribution, and measurement.
Content Creation: Oversee the creation of engaging and relevant content across different platforms such as websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and more. Ensure content is optimized for search engines (SEO) and adheres to brand guidelines.
Audience Research: Conduct thorough research to understand target audience preferences, behaviors, and pain points. Use data insights to inform content decisions and tailor messaging to specific audience segments.
Content Calendar Management: Maintain a content calendar to schedule and organize content publication timelines. Coordinate with writers, designers, and other team members to ensure timely delivery of content assets.
Content Optimization: Continuously analyze content performance metrics such as website traffic, engagement, and conversion rates. Identify areas for improvement and implement optimization strategies to enhance content effectiveness.
Content Governance: Establish content governance policies to maintain consistency, accuracy, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Implement workflows and quality assurance processes to uphold content standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, product, and sales to align content initiatives with broader business objectives. Foster collaboration and communication to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools
Knowledge of SEO principles and content marketing best practices
Experience with content creation and editing (Must present portfolio)
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing techniques
