Job Description
Responsibilities:
Design, develop and test Business Intelligence solutions per business need using Cognos 10.2 Tools
Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of IBM Cognos 10 BI product line
provide best practice advice and depth of knowledge on the IBM Cognos suite (best options and alternatives for designs and implementations)
Required Skills: The ideal individual will have 5+ years of industry experience, with focus on a Cognos 10.2 enterprisewide Business Intelligence tools Framework Manager, Reports Studio, Workspace Advanced. DB2 Work Experience. Drive to implement new features like workspace, active reports and selfservice via Insight.
Analyze requirements, design solutions and deliver solutions in combination with data warehouse/ETL architects and developers.
Candidates are expected to have experience in the full lifecycle of implementation
Candidate Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
Modeling using Cognos Framework Manager
Report Studio Experience
Workspace / Workspace advanced
MUST HAVE exceptional SQL capabilities with DB2.
Ability to work in a fastpaced development environment.
Working independently within guidelines, responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing application and system implementation projects using a formal project management methodology.
Must be able to diagnose and solve the problems as well as guiding with best practices of trouble shooting methods
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to deal effectively in a team environment. MUST HAVE strong documentation skills
Has wide latitude in determining creative solutions to strategic and operational needs.
Nice to Have Skills Cognos SPSS is a PLUS
