As our senior Broker Partnership Manager your job is to turn our playbook for working with Brokers and their clients into a scalable go-to-market that expands Burnalong/Tivity's footprint across our strategic broker and consultant relationships. Your goal is to increase brand awareness and relationships in the market, drive growth of referrals from brokers, and maintain and strengthen our relationships with both individuals and firms across the industry as we continue to promote our comprehensive corporate wellness solutions.
An ideal candidate has extensive experience in this world, likely coming from a similar role at another company, or a consultant or brokerage house. As a result, you'll have a minimal learning curve when it comes to working between brokers and our Health and Wellness solution. You're also scrappy and inventive, excited by the chance to craft our entire strategy in this vertical and experienced balancing that strategic view with rolling up your sleeves and getting in the weeds to build a pipeline/network.
This is a remote job with the expectation that you may travel up to 30% of the time as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the relationship with brokers at various brokerages including a focus on education, relationship building, and ensuring we are seen as a subject matter expert in our offering as well the space in general.
- Cultivate relationships with brokers at a local, regional, and national level to drive referrals from their book of business.
- Pass individual referral opportunities to the sales team to close, while providing support and maintaining the broker relationship.
- Perform discovery and product demos to position Burnalong and spark interest from the channel.
- Work with our marketing team to drive greater interest and awareness in Burnalong through a variety of campaigns, event strategy, and thought leadership opportunities.
- Help our product, CS, and sales team stay up to date on market trends, growth opportunities, and ways to enhance our solution.
- 8+ years of experience in partnership, channel, or broker roles in the wellness, healthcare or related industry, preferred.
- Extensive understanding of the corporate wellness and healthcare benefits space.
- Robust existing broker partner relationships with national consultant and / or broker firms.
- Proficient in using modern sales tools (CRM, outreach tools, Sales Navigator etc.)
