Amazon Music is hiring a Sr Brand Manager to join our Artist Merchandise team. The Amazon Music Merchandise team is responsible for building a destination of official Music Merchandise and connecting fans and artists through merch. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day brand development of our strategic artist partners, delivering full-service coordination across creative services, apparel and accessory production, ecommerce and pop-up/events. This includes day to day management of event collection launches that are in line with the brand vision, drive revenue to the bottom line, and build great artist partnerships. The successful candidate should have experience pitching and managing artist and artist teams, developing business plans for artist retail merchandise collections, focus on revenue margin and driving significant top and bottom-line results, and managing multiple responsibilities, within an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of with Excel experience
- 5+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA
- 5 years of relevant senior level experience in negotiations, vendor management, pricing/ promotion or merchandise brand management with a proven track record of delivering results
- Relevant experience working in an apparel, fashion, or merch business
- Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
- Experience working with creative directors, and manufacturers, to create new products
- High threshold for working in an ambiguous, fast paced start-up like environment - figuring it out and adapting as you go
- Comfortable with "hands-on" management of tasks, and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Exceptional communication skills - speaking, writing, presenting and negotiating - across both business and creative audiences

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $96,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
