About the Role
We are looking for a founding Marketing Automation Advisor (Sr. BDR) to generate a predictable flow of opportunities by educating e-commerce companies on best ways to improve customer journeys.
Working closely with founders, heads of sales, marketing & customer success you will be responsible for discovering sustainable ways to increase and keep high outreach conversions.
You will be a key employee in achieving predictable US market traction, ensuring the company's overall success. Meaning ambitious targets, short onboarding and fast growth in both compensation and position.
In this role, you will:
- Work with a clean Target Account List (TAL) with found and mapped contacts
- Strive to achieve 10% interested / outreached conversion
- Outreach a few hundred mid-market accounts monthly with high-touch ABM. Email, LI, calls
- Hand qualify up to 100 tier 2 accounts per month to help improve TAL quality
- Work in Apollo, Sales Navigator, Front & Hubspot
- Continuously develop & test new hypotheses, improve marketing materials with feedback
- Use consultative, personalized approach with focus on quality: inquiring and listening, not pushing and selling
- Conduct product interviews and discovery calls together with founders and other team members
- Build personal brand as e-commerce growth expert in LinkedIn, attend industry events
- Onboard next BDRs and participate in hiring, work process & sales playbook development
Basic expectations:
- 2+ years inside B2B sales experience. Multichannel, multitouch, including calling
- History of continuously hitting the quota selling SaaS in mid-market (ACV > $20 000)
- Experience in pre-product market fit (PMF) companies: message iteration
Nice to have, but not required:
- Worked in Round A stage companies during rapid sales scaling
- Have knowledge in marketing automation, customer journey optimization or e-commerce
- Have an active LinkedIn profile or other public writing portfolio
- Live within driving distance from Cambridge, MA (or ready to travel for onboarding)
- Have a leading experience: onboarding and / or process improvement
Compensation & Benefits:
- $60k base salary, $ 100k OTE with 6 monthly opportunities & closed commission, uncapped
- Generous equity grant when ESOP is legally ready (subject to eligibility)
