Sr. Analyst, Software Quality Assurance

Job Summary: Play a pivotal role in establishing and executing comprehensive test automation strategies specifically tailored for our suite of .NET based applications. Encompass crafting and implementing robust automation frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with business analysts and development teams to understand requirements for new features and applications.
• Develops and maintains test plans, test cases and test data to cover all requirements and use cases.
• Creates and executes manual and automated test scripts using Selenium, Azure DevOps, and other tools.
• Identifies, records, documents thoroughly, and tracks bugs.
• Performs thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develops and applies testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Monitors debugging process results investigate the causes of non-conforming software and trains users to implement solutions.
• Identifies, analyzes, and documents existing automation gaps and propose solutions.
• Generates and presents test reports to stakeholders.
• Recommends improvements to QA processes, framework, and toolset.
• Mentors junior QA members of the team of best practices in Software Quality Assurance.
• Gathers quality metrics for reporting purposes.
• Produces reports based on these metrics to management and stakeholders.
• DevOps pipelines and pipeline automation.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field and 5+ years' experience as a QA analyst ideally with .NET based applications. ISTQB/ISEB Certification is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, Selenium, REST Assured or similar automation frameworks.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Working knowledge in an Agile development environment.
• Ability to analyze system requirements and translate them into test requirements.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Work Environment:

• Work is primarily performed in a climate controlled office setting.
