ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Card Processing
Assist with the creation and submission of the quarterly VISA Operating Certificate. Assess and report results to Bank’s Product Manager and DPO management.
Monitor debit card stock (in vault at Fiserv and the bank)
Monitor and review all Fiserv bulletins and notify management and teams of impacts pertaining to bulletins.
Wire Processing
Maintain wire processing Runbook.
Assist with review of wire Risk Assessment.
Assist with the creation of wire volume reporting to ERMC.
Assist with Annual Vendor Management reviews.
ACH Processing and Monitoring
Pep+ onboarding of customers for cash management originations.
Pep + Monitor originations.
Pep+ Set up and monitoring of debit blocks and filters.
Pep+ Set up and monitor risk limits.
Pep+ process ACH from all collection points multiple times a day.
Pep+ Tracking and creation of ACH annual report.
Pep+ Maintain and update runbook and process flow documents.
Process ACH revocations and ACH stop payment requests and return any unauthorized ACH entries.
Process Government Reclamations such as SSI/SSA, VA or CSA benefits and begin collections efforts for any accounts with insufficient funds to process the reclamation.
Process ACH returns from other banks.
Prepare and maintain the Reg E ACH log and process all customer claims of fraud or error on ACH transactions and resolve in timely, professional and compliant manner.
Miscellaneous Functions
Balance daily and reconcile monthly general ledger accounts.
Monitoring and reporting of Monthly IOLTA Remittances to the various States.
Keeping knowledge current on rules and guidance for remittance and reporting of IOLTA accounts.
Maintain understanding of payments products offered.
Organize information to assist in the review and reporting of Salem Five payment volumes and trends.
Support the Branches, Business Lines and Contact Center with operational issues and concerns and any exception items.
Serve as back up to other Deposit Operations staff on various functions within their field of expertise.
Demonstrate compliance with banking laws and regulations as defined in company policies and procedures pertinent to position.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
AAP certification required
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates Degree or equivalent from 2-year College and/or at least 4 years related experience or training required. Primary focus is on execution within defined parameters, with some expansion based on developing capabilities and/or experiences in partnership with more experienced staff and other business lines. Accountable for the completion of timely and accurate assigned processes or projects. Responsible for directing junior staff. Knowledge of NACHA rules, regulation E and card network rules, and Fiserv DNA/Client Central is a plus.
