We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Finance Lead with a strong data science background to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
Work closely with the business teams to ideate and track operating KPIs and support key strategic decision-making
Conduct detailed analysis into data trends and work with cross-functional partners to address any implications to their strategies and the company-wide model
Lead the development of dashboards and presentations to track and convey progress on specific initiatives
Support development of business team operating models and help drive ongoing budgeting/forecasting
Own analytics projects from end to end
Build and support ad-hoc data requests
Support business-wide data governance and data integrity across platforms
Requirements:
5+ years of Strategic Finance experience, ideally in Strategy Consulting and high-growth companies. Relevant experience in the SaaS and/or logistics industry is a plus
Strong leadership skills and a robust data analytics background
Able to use advanced statistical techniques, tools, and strong business acumen to construct data sets and analyses from which to inform, deliver insights, make recommendations, and offer solutions for decision-making
Strong track record of setting and achieving goals
Demonstrable strategic thought leadership
Analytical and problem-solving skills and experience resolving complex business problems with well-structured analytics and Expert Excel modeling
Strong background using analytical and BI Programming Tools such as SQL, Python, Alteryx, PowerBI, data warehouses, ETL, and the like
Experience with SQL and data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau
Prior experience with CAC, CLV, Churn, MRR, ARR, and others is required
Experience working with a global team
Exceptional attention to detail with strong organization and time management skills
You must have a proactive attitude to identify issues and challenges rather than await assignments
Outstanding presentation skills, including strong oral and written capabilities, that will drive alignment and resolution of critical business issues. Ability to tell the story within the data and recommend path forward
Ability to identify new insights, angles, and perspectives that the business may not have considered previously
Ability to cast data analysis into actionable recommendations
