Support 1st Line Of Defense ("1LOD") Know Your Customer ("KYC") Enhanced Due Diligence ("EDD") program efforts through reporting, analysis, and insights on business process and key risk indicators while focusing on two key themes - KYC Program Health and KYC Pipeline Management
Responsibilities:
Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting
- Enhancing and publishing FLOD KYC reporting, inclusive of operational pipelines for new KYC and EDD reviews, special approvals, and management reporting including:
- Productivity metrics
- Service Level Agreement (SLA) metrics
- Monthly Business Review (MBR) decks
Data Analysis
- Define, develop, and maintain a set of risk-based metrics, analytics, and reporting activities in coordination with 1LOD KYC leadership and the business.
- Enhance existing monthly business review decks to help analyze and visualize key 1LOD KYC EDD program milestones and action items.
Identifying Risk
- Create and maintain risk & control reporting (KRIs, risk appetite thresholds, regulatory reporting requests) to ensure accurate and complete data is provided to all key stakeholders.
- Assist with the tracking and trending of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Compliance reporting including:
- Issues and Action Plans
- Audit, Testing, and Exams
- Policy change management
Operational Support
- Drive inclusion, dialogue and decision making on key business and operations management topics within 1LOD and between key business partners.
- Represent FLOD KYC workflow needs in product design and development discussions, ensuring FLOD has insight to team and client relationship level data.
Bachelor's Degree with 2+ year(s) of experience with related operational, strategic, and reputational risk management experience at a leading financial institution OR High School Diploma or GED and 6+ year(s) of experience with related operational, strategic, and reputational risk management experience at a leading financial institution.
Requirements:
- Expert skills in excel, PowerPoint, SQL Server (or equivalent), Tableau (or equivalent)
- Expert skills in quantitative analysis, data verification and data reconcilement analysis
- Experience using data in identifying reputational, strategic, compliance, technology and operational business and operations process related risks and assessing the adequacy of controls to manage such risks, including recommending enhanced or additional controls.
- Anticipates business needs and proactively identifies opportunities to improve and strengthen the control environment through actionable insights.
- Critical-thinking, business analysis, and process engineering skills to manage, contribute to, and foresee pitfalls in process-related deliverables.
- Polished diplomacy, active listening, persuasiveness, and presentation skills to evangelize new products or changes and gain buy-in, consensus, and cooperation in the face of conflicting viewpoints, resistance to change, constraints, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills - evidence of working in collaboration across large, complex organizations, including effective influencing skills, a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues/requests.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing presentations and presenting to Senior Leadership or Committees
- Strong knowledge of applicable laws, rules, regulations, supervisory guidance, and expectations for large financial institutions (LFIs)
- Familiar with corporate governance standards & KYC frameworks
