Hybrid , reporting to a specific location where work needs to be performed / collaboration should happen (regardless this location is within a hub) and without regard to where a candidate lives (some employees may end up hybrid who live more than 50 miles away but where business needs dictate them to be onsite at a specific location three days per week).

  • This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Global Technical Center- Michigan IT Innovation Center three times per week, at minimum

About the Role:

The position will report to the Manager Loyalty Program Operation and will focus on planning and tracking loyalty member (Rewards and Card) program and go to market executions. The individual will manage two direct reports will work closely with many members of the Loyalty team as well as collaborating across GM and agencies/vendors to deliver success for the program.  
The ideal candidate for the role embodies GM’s Behaviors and is motivated by the drive to ensure GM establishes a winning strategy that delivers a best-in-industry Loyalty program that delivers value for customers, GM and dealer network.  Ability to lead change, collaborate and influence across all functions and levels, effectively prioritize and thrive in an ambiguous / fast-paced environment is a must. The candidate will have to consistently tell the value story of the Loyalty Program to various internal stakeholders in order to solicit buy in and support for the program.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Create and maintain process efficiencies for the GM Loyalty Program. Support and guide the loyalty managers and business leads, while implementing on-going improvements through project management support tactics
  • Organize and manage multiple Loyalty Program Executions end to end, as well as communicate with internal/external relevant parties to guarantee successful and on-time deliveries
  • Develop and maintain team organizational templates and tracking tools to record and report program implementation status effectively and efficiently, highlighting risks and opportunity areas, for all levels of the organization.
  • Facilitate cross-functional planning and support multi-year Loyalty Program implementations and other special projects/initiatives as identified
  • Develop and foster relationships with cross functional stakeholders and external partners as required to support short term & long-term roadmap need

  • Be a problem solver and analytical thinker showing the ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently, and knowing when to escalate issues
  • Be a strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically
  • Possess the ability to quickly learn, retain, and utilize a wide variety of information
  • Be able to build and maintain strong relationships and gain the trust and confidence of partners both internal and external to GM
  • Strong oral and written communication skills: (1) Effective communications up/down/across the organization (2) Effective business writer; able to provide a short synopsis and recommendation

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ work experience in a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree, PMP certificate a plus
  • Excellent project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong ability to create, build and leverage relationships and effectively interface with all levels team members.
  • Willingness to roll up the sleeves to solve problems
  • Strong interpersonal and team interaction skills. Highly collaborative.
  • Strong detail orientation. High degree of initiative and results orientation.
  • Exceptional at prioritizing and focusing on urgent needs
  • Experience with Marketing, Credit Card, or Rewards Programs highly desired.
