Position Summary
This individual will support the Property Manager and Board of Directors with accounting related duties required by the Homeowner or Condominium Association. This person will be working out of the Corporate Office and will have the option of a hybrid work from home and office schedule once approved by the Controller after fully trained. This position is a full-time salary position.
Responsibilities
Process Accounts Payable (AP), including but not limited to:
o Review and code bills from Vendors
o Ensure the proper Invoice/Check review process is followed
o Prepare and send payments (online, mail, etc.,) for approved payments
o Produce necessary reports for the Manager and/or Board
Process General Ledger and Prepare Monthly and Year-End Financials Reports
o Plan and enter required General Ledger entries
o Prepare Income Statements
o Prepare Balance Sheets
o Reconcile Bank Accounts
o Prepare and Distribute required Financials Reports
Reviewing and Supervisory Role
o The Senior Accountant will be given sets of books to review and supervise.
o Provide comprehensive training on accounting software, Vantaca, to bookkeepers.
Identify issues or exceptions on a monthly basis and share with Manager and/or Board
Provide reporting to enable the creation of Annual Budgets
Administering Association banking, including but not limited to signature cards, opening accounts, closing accounts, and analyzing banking options to maximize interest.
Maintaining Association accounting schedules including but not limited to utilities, security deposits, accruals, etc.
Compensation up to $65K DOE
