Sr. Accountant

We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant for a manufacturing company located in South Orange County. This position will be working onsite.
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:Will e responsible for supporting the month-enc close process, monthly analysis and managing the GL accounts.Ensure proper capitalization of the fixed assets and depreciations. Prepare the monthly fixed assets rollforward.Responsible for the property tax returnsHandle the intercompany billingsMonthly accruals, journal entries and reconciling the GL accountsMonthly flux analysis and ad hoc reportingWill support the SOX compliance and audits Balance sheet reconciliationsMonthly financial statements
Senior Accountant Requirements:BA/BS in Accounting or Finance5+ years of solid GL accounting experienceManufacturing industry is requiredSolid GAAP accounting understandingStrong verbal and written communication skillsIntermediate Excel skills (Vlookup and pivot table functions)Strong attention to detail and strong with meeting deadlines
