Job Title:SQL Server Database Administrator

SUMMARY
The SQL Server Database Administrator works with the DBA lead to design and configure database systems, ensure data integrity and availability, optimize database performance, perform regular backups, troubleshoot issues, and apply security measures to safeguard sensitive information. This position also collaborates with teams to address data-related requirements, manages user access, and stays updated on emerging technologies to enhance database functionality and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator.
- Strong experience in performance monitoring and improvement for stored procedures.
- Proficient in user management and maintenance plan implementation.
- Experience in providing Data Governance field descriptions and solutions.
- Familiarity with data masking and encryption techniques.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- In-depth knowledge of SQL Server Database Engine, Integration Services, and Reporting Services.
- Expertise in query optimization, indexing, and schema refinement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
