Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the achievement of software development milestones within an Agile Software Development framework. Reporting to the Software Development Lead/Architect, you will assist in supporting, modernizing, and migrating multiple complex Line of Business (LoB) applications within a secure DoD environment. This role requires proficiency in both front-end and back-end requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Software Development Lead/Architect to achieve software development milestones.
• Support, modernize, and migrate complex Line of Business (LoB) applications.
• Develop, test, and maintain functionality, ensuring security enhancements.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle process.
• Utilize expertise in web frameworks and technologies such as CSS, HTML, JSON, PowerShell, and T-SQL or PL/SQL.
• Contribute to an Agile environment using SCM tools like Azure DevOps and Git.
• Maintain code repositories, data flows, and development documentation.
• Coordinate test plans and provide documented results.
• Troubleshoot bugs and issues along the CI/CD pipeline.
• Demonstrate familiarity with enabling technologies such as Apache Tomcat, IIS, MS SQL, Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, Windows Server 2019+, RedHat Enterprise Linux, VMware ESXI 7.0+.
• Ensure compatibility across various browsers and mobile platforms (Android and iOS).
• Uphold compliance standards in coordination with the cybersecurity team.
• Assist in adhering to DoD secure technical guides and milestones.
• Communicate ideas effectively, verbally and in writing, and prepare briefings for leadership and management staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in software development.
• CompTIA Security+CE certification required before joining.
• Active or Interim SECRET clearance preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $135,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
