Position Summary: The Sprinkler Service Technician's responsibilities will include service and repair all fire sprinkler systems including but not limited to; Steel Pipe, Copper Pipe and Plastic Pipe, Sprinkler Wet & Dry systems, Fire Pumps and Back Flow Preventers for Commercial and Residential Customers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform tests and inspections on Wet & Dry fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and related systems.
- Install or upgrade fire sprinklers in commercial and residential buildings.
- Maintenance and repairs of wet & dry fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and related systems.
- Must have working knowledge of NFPA 25 and 13
- Maintains customer rapport by resolving concerns, answering questions.
- Maintain safe and secure work environment by following safe practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Required Skills:
- High School Diploma / GED
- At least 2 Years of Experience with Fire Sprinkler Systems preferred.
- Must have working knowledge of NFPA 25 and 13
- Nevada State Fire Marshal License (G-Card) Preferred.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills.
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a team environment as well as work independently.
- Requires the ability to interpret, apply, and explain applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
- Requires the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Requires the ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
- Requires the ability to use equipment, such as hand tools, power tools, ladders, pipe bender.
- Troubleshooting Skills.
- Complies with applicable safety, environment, health policies and procedures.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and on-call.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must read and speak English.
Physical Requirements:
