Summary Job Description

This position is required to apply the final coats of stain, lacquer, and other special finishes to the furniture.

Essential Duties

• Follows the instructions of the work order for the finish that is required on the product
• Takes the finish schedule and color panel and follows the process from start to finish
• Adjusts spray guns and other equipment to order specification without assistance
• Applies any stain, lacquer, sealer or enamel required without assistance
• Assists others with spraying when necessary
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures
• All other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous finishing experience required

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling and twisting throughout the day
• Frequent repetitive motions requiring grasping, pushing/pulling and fine hand manipulation
• Frequently reaching at, above, or below shoulder level
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently; rarely up to 75 lbs.
