Apple is looking for dedicated Sports Engineering Program Managers to help deliver incredible sports features. Apple has recently made significant strides in the world of sports. Notably, this past season we introduced exclusive streaming of Major League Soccer. In addition to this, there are a number of other amazing sports features across various products, including Friday Night Baseball and Sports Live Activities on the Lock Screen. As a Sports Engineering Program Manager, you will be expected to work cross-functionally across many teams to drive complex, technical features to completion. This role requires the ability tackle difficult problems, work with ambiguity and motivate and inspire others to help deliver the highest quality.

  • 5+ Years of Program, Project, or Product Management in Software Development
  • Experience in facilitating various phases (driving requirements, design, progress & status meetings) of the software development lifecycle in a large organization
  • Strong understanding of processes and frameworks needed to drive successful execution of large, complex software applications
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and drive results while juggling many priorities under tight timeframes
  • Comfort with ambiguity but also willing to dive deep into the technical details to ensure delivery of a successful product
  • Experience taking in data from multiple large disparate systems, organizing the data and creating structure
  • Experience building highly scalable and intuitive data pipeline management tools
  • Experience in sports, media, entertainment industries and/or streaming video services a plus
  • Passionate sports fans, with subject-matter expertise

Working as part of an extraordinary development team, we're looking for a highly motivated Sports Engineering Program Manager. You will work closely with teams and partners worldwide to shape the roadmap, build new features, and ship software releases to millions of Apple customers. As an Engineering Program Manager at Apple, you will be responsible for fast, scalable outcomes and delivery. Working closely with internal and external partners, you'll drive technical integrations through to completion. Your ability to capture requirements, build connections, anticipate challenges and get projects to launch will be necessary for success. The role requires a combination of program, project and release management skills. You will have the freedom to bring new ideas and develop innovative solutions to gain efficiencies in the build, development, testing, and deployment lifecycle. Your enthusiasm and energy will drive discussions leading to the design of new experiences for Apple customers.   • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $160,700.00 and $282,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
