- Achieve sales goals by meeting or exceeding the customer(s) expectations.
- Maintain a safe & hazard free environment/sporting area. Report customer injuries/accidents per company guidelines
- Perform and assist in all tasks/responsibilities within the Spo-Cha department wherever needed. Up to and including associate level work.
- Consult with the General Manager to formulate and execute a plan for achieving sales targets.
- Properly train new or existing employees.
- Take measures regarding the increase or decrease in the number of employees and maintain an appropriate employee roster in cooperation with the GM.
- Predict store sales, create shifts within labor budget, manage store expenses
- Conduct daily facility operations, environment implementation, improvement, management, and safety checks.
- Maintain facility to OSHA standards.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment inside the Spo-Cha building. MUST use step-ladder to reach or work in high places. Follow all safety rules set by the company.
- Complete daily reports & task in a timely manner.
- Perform accurate inventory counts, ordering, and delivery management in order to maintain proper inventory levels.
- Assist in making decisions (promotion, salary cuts, etc.) in consultation with GM to evaluate employee performance.
- Build, share, and execute effective workflows with staff.
- Communicate important information to staff when needed.
- Problem solving and conflict resolution with both guests and employees. (level of service, operations, staffing, etc.)
- Perform refunds and cancellations for sales under appropriate rules and judgment.
- Conduct cash & equipment audits in accordance to “Loss Prevention” guidelines.
- Opening & closing duties – Tasks include but not limited to, checking and securing all doors/entry-ways, arming/disarming security alarm, preparing Spo-Cha for business operations. (moved to essential)
- Risk and Safety Assessments- Due to amount of physical activity and nature of Spo-Cha, risk and safety assessment will need to be performed frequently to ensure guests and staff are safe. Risk and Safety Assessment will department effort lead by the Spo-Cha manager to reduce risk and increase safety.
Non-Essential Duties:
- Follows Company guidelines for managing confidential information, customer satisfaction and supervising Spo-Cha associates.
- Ensures satisfactory maintenance, appearance and condition of assigned facilities to comply with security, safety and environmental codes and ordinances.
- Enforces compliance with all local, state, federal regulations and company policy pertaining to safety, loss prevention.
