Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 9am - 5pm
Starting wage: $22.00 per hour.
Wage scale is $22.00 - $27.00 per hour (starts at $22.00 and through annual step increases may go up to $27.00)
In addition, we are offering a $1,000 bonus. $500 to be paid out after the employee successfully completes New Hire Orientation and Peer Coaching and $500 to be paid out after 90-days of employment.
Benefits for Full-Time Employees (30 hours or more a week) include Medical, Dental, Vision, 403(b) (non-profit version of a 401(k)) with company match, Life Insurance, Tuition Savings Program, and Tuition Reimbursement. Employees working 34 or more hours a week are eligible for PTO accrual.
DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL LEAD (DSP Lead)
We offer paid, on-the-job training, but 1 year or more experience as a DSP or other leadership role is necessary in addition to a desire to serve your community and support others. An NAR CNA or HCA license is highly desired, but not required! We also provide comprehensive and affordable health care benefits.
We serve a diverse population of adults with developmental disabilities. DSPs assist clients with reaching their goals and activities of daily living. The DSP also provides support with social activities and medical appointments and will drive clients using agency vehicles. Assistance with medications and bathing/toileting is required for some clients.
In addition, DSP lead duties include:
a. Develop and maintain activity calendars
b. Prepare and maintain property inventory records
c. Develop grocery lists and assign staff to support participants with grocery shopping
d. Monitor home status and provide maintenance requests
e. New hire support and training, including Peer Coaching
f. Periodically review clothing and hygiene supplies to identify needed repairs or replacements
g. Verify that food purchased with EBT cards is properly labeled and stored
h. Check PRNs to make sure we have 7 days/dosages on hand and check expiration date - reorder as needed
