Speech Therapist

Right at Home is a growing, locally owned home health company based in Cedar Rapids. We currently provide skilled nursing, companion and personal cares for a wide variety of clients in Eastern Iowa. We proudly provide these services to veterans, and we are in need of a part-time Speech Therapist to expand the level of skilled care available to them.
Responsibilities of a home-based Speech Therapist include:
Provide high quality evaluation and treatment of disorders related to speech and swallowing
Develop personalized care plans to improve one's ability to vocalize, communicate, eat, and overall function of patients in the home setting, involving them in setting goals
Communicate and collaborate with associated medical professionals to achieve patient goals
Clear, concise, timely documentation in our software system
Regular communication with physicians, nurses, case managers within Veterans Affairs as needed
Ability to work independently and autonomously, managing ones own schedule
Supervise home health aides involved in patient care
