Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Conduct speech and language re-evaluations for special education students
- Deliver group and individual speech services, as per student IEP mandates
- Maintain accurate records, speech logs and Medicaid related documents
- Collaborate with teachers, parents and districts
Requirements:
- NYS Certification - Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped/Teacher of Speech Language Disabilities
- Preferred - NYS Speech Language Pathology license and/or American Speech Language Hearing Association - Certificate of Clinical Competence
- Experience working with children & adolescents with Autism and/or emotional and behavioral disorders highly desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
