Overview

The SLP-II is an independent licensed provider of medical speech-language pathology services for the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders. The SLP-II exceeds all requirements of the SLP-I and demonstrates proficiency in practice.

Responsibilities
  • In accordance with certification and licensure standards, proficiently performs and documents diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and procedures to evaluate, diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Continues education, training and instruction to acquire new skills and competencies.
  • Participates in activites to increase the quality, efficiency and outcomes of patient care, with increased leadership and responsibility.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree and 1-2 years experience 1-5 years preferred. Pediatric preferred. Consider paraprofessional in Speech Pathologist as experience. or
  • Licensed Speech/Language Pathologist KS
  • Licensed Speech/Language Pathologist MO
  • Am. Speech Language Hearing Assoc. Cert. of Clinical Comp.
  • SPEECH PATH LIC MO Licensed Speech/Language Pathologist MO State licenses in Speech/Language Pathology MO Required Upon Hire
  • SPEECH PATH LIC KS Licensed Speech/Language Pathologist KS State licenses in Speech/Language Pathology KS Required 90 Days
  • ASHA CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) Required Upon Hire
Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $32.70/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

 

Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is not eligible work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children's Mercy locations and may not work from home.
