- Determine the exact nature and severity of each patient’s communication problems that may require the use of special equipment and tests
- Develop and implement individualized plans for assigned clients to meet individual needs, interests and abilities
- Review treatment plans and assess individual performances to modify, change, or write new programs
- Provide dynamic, creative and challenging treatments for patients to facilitate progress
- Treat adults whose language, speech or voice has been affected
- Assess adults who have difficulty chewing and swallowing
- Educate patients and their families to lead a healthy lifestyle and prevent injury or disability
- Must possess current Maryland Speech Language Pathology Therapist Licensure
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology therapy (Master’s degree preferred).
- At least 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist with caring for patients of varying age groups.
- Proficient with Rehab Optima and Microsoft Office software
