Job Summary
The Speech Language Pathologist, Primary Care provides Speech Language therapy services to clinic patients. Pay Range
Minimum $88,789 Midpoint $117,664 Maximum $146,497 Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
- Required: Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience required.
Education
- Required: Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders or equivalent.
Training
- Required: None required.
Specialized Skills
- Required: Strong customer service skills. Ability to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure and deadlines; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision.
- Preferred: Conversational fluency in sign language or a second language, particularly Spanish or Vietnamese.
Licensure
- Required: California license in Speech Language Pathology; Eligible for or currently holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA); Basic Life Support (BLS).
Work Environments - Functional Demand:
