About Us:
Pediatric Speech and Language Services, Inc (PSLS) was incorporated in 1993. It is a therapist owned and managed company.
Karen Parrish wanted to serve children with hearing loss in Greensboro and the surrounding areas. Karen and her therapists strongly believe in providing specialized speech services for all children and adults with hearing loss or developmental delays. We currently have four LSLS (Listening and Spoken Language Specialists) certified Auditory-Verbal therapists and two therapists working toward their LSLS certification.
We now serve children in more than 15 counties across North Carolina. Although our primary specialty continues to be serving children who are deaf or hard of hearing, we also have therapists who specialize in dysphagia (swallowing), language development, apraxia, and cognitive/linguistic therapy.
