Soliant Health, a reputable healthcare staffing agency, is thrilled to present a rewarding opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near King's Mountain, NC. This position is set to begin in January and extend until May 31, 2024, with a commitment of hours per week. The daily schedule will be from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM. The SLP will be responsible for serving a caseload of 48 students in grades Pre-K through 5th, with a focus on mainstream students.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 48 students in grades Pre-K through 5th.
- Serve mainstream students, adapting interventions to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support student success.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments to determine students' communication needs and progress.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- North Carolina state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience or a strong interest in working with students in grades Pre-K through 5th.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and other professionals.
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate and up-to-date student records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
