Job Description
Pay Rate: $40-43/hr

Job Duties:
- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct initial assessments and evaluations of students to determine speech and language disorders.
- Therapy Sessions: Implement individualized therapy plans under the guidance of licensed speech-Language Pathologists.
- Progress Tracking: Document student progress and collaborate with the supervising speech-Language Pathologist to modify therapy plans as needed.
- Supportive Environment: Create a positive and supportive environment to engage students in the therapy process.
- Communication: Regularly communicate with teachers, parents, and other relevant staff to provide updates on student progress and recommend strategies for in-class support.
- Equipment Management: Maintain and organize speech therapy equipment and materials.
- Professional Development: Stay current with best practices in speech-language therapy through ongoing professional development.
- Associate’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) from an accredited program.
- State licensure or certification as required in the state.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassion and patience when working with students.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
- CPR and First Aid certification
